John Irving

Irving foi aclamado depois do sucesso internacional de The Word According to Garp, em 1978. Todos os romances de Irving, como The Cider House Rules e O filho de Deus vai pra guerra, tornaram-se beste-sellers e muitos foram adaptados para o cinema.
