Chegou o #submarinodigitalclub e eu preciso da sua ajuda
Quem me conhece sabe que eu sou um entusiasta dos livros digitais, acima de tudo por conta da facilidade de comprar com um click e carregar toda minha biblioteca toda no bolso, no computador ou no tablet. Dos 16 livros que eu li ano passado só 3 foram em papel (7 foram em audiobook), com um ritmo igual neste ano.
Por conta disso fui um dos selecionados como embaixador no lançamento do Submarino Digital Club no Brasil, uma plataforma de e-books que usa o sistema do Copia. Diferente dos outros esquemas onde tudo se limita a uma lojinha, o Submarino Digital Club também tem funcionalidades para juntar as pessoas que estão lendo um livro ou quem gosta de um determinado gênero ou autor. É aquela história de que com as novas tecnologias o ato de ler um livro não precisa ser (o tempo todo) solitário.
E é justamente aqui que vocêêêêêêêêêêê entra, ô da poltrona. Preciso escolher qual livro vou ler na comunidade nesse finzinho de ano e conto com seu palpite. Semana que vem a gente começa a leitura. Fica a dica: quem criar uma conta no site pode baixar de graça alguns títulos, entre eles Elite da Tropa 2 e O Novo Mundo Digital, que eu já peguei. Mas vale sugerir qualquer livro do catálogo.

Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2012
Tangerine TangoAccording to the official announcement, the deep red-orange color is intended to give us all a big energy boost; a refresh and a recharge. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Institute tells us more about the choice for 2012:
Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it. Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.
I think this is a highly-usable color for interiors. It’s very easy to incorporate into a room as an accent, although the full wall treatment (as shown above) is absolutely an option for those willing to take the plunge, as it can be easier to coordinate with than reds with a cooler, blue tone.
Red-Oranges work easily with white and warm neutrals, such as creams and gray-browns and can look fantastic with other strong colors – it’s great in combination with pale blue, other “true” oranges (think pumpkin) and also army green.

Pepsi vs Coke: The Power of a Brand
As a customer, I’ve never been quite able to decide which side I’m on. The truth is that I like both colas and often go through periods of drinking one exclusively while imagining that I like it better only to try the other and realize that I’ve been missing out. In fact, I like Fentimans Curiosity Cola better than either Coke or Pepsi, but I digress. The beauty of being a consumer is that I can enjoy both major brands and don’t really have to conform to the theoretical ideas of brand loyalty discussed in marketing boardrooms.
However, ever since I took an interest in design, I’ve observed this rivalry from a new point of view: I constantly compare the design styles of Coca-Cola’s marketing to that of Pepsi. Unlike with taste, in this game I always see a clear winner. Before we see which it is, let’s take a look at each brand individually, starting with Pepsi.
